Kitty Savage

Kitty is Research Technician at the Lagier-Tourenne Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital.  She earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science at the University of New Hampshire, where she performed undergraduate research in the lab of Dr. Arturo Andrade.  Her research focused on the localization and biophysical properties of neuronal L-type calcium channels.  She was accepted into the MIT Summer Research Program 2016, where she worked in the lab of Dr. Weifeng Xu at the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory.  She sought additional training in pathology at the New Hampshire Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, where she worked with Dr. David Needle.  She received the first annual Weeks Fellowship for Undergraduate Research.
